A Marital Conversation between Younger Brother and Older Brother

I overhead the following conversation between a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old. They are brothers, and happen to be my sons. The older brother was asking the younger one who he would marry. Yes, it’s not exactly what kids of that age discuss, but I think this was because of a role-playing PC game they were playing earlier in the day. This is how the conversation went:

Nine-year-old: Who will you marry when you grow up?

Six-year-old: Mummy.

Nine-year-old (with a wisdom beyond his years): You can’t marry Mummy! She’s already married.
