Toddy Odyssey

Toddy is an alcoholic drink derived from the coconut tree that is popular in the Kerala countryside. However, the drink in such shops is often only an accompaniment to the astonishing range of excellent food that is offered.

Sadly, the toddy industry is in its death throes. Adulteration is rampant. Unless regulation is tightened, these shops will die.

And with them will also die a part of the Kerala countryside.
