Kozhi Kaala: A Classic Tapioca Dish from Malabar

This dish caught my eye because of its name: kozhi kaala, or chicken’s legs. But there’s no chicken in it! It consists of tapioca sticks stuck together with some culinary glue. I love the creative name! Hop over to Ojeen (Broadway), which specializes in traditional dishes of Malabar, and if you’re lucky you can taste it.
