Sighting the Bicolored Frog at Thekkady

Recently, during a trek in Thekkady, a team member suddenly knelt on the path ahead, examining something. It turned out to be a superbly camouflaged frog, and she’d spotted it only because it had jumped out of harm’s way in front of her. I soon found that there were many of them in the surrounding area; the leaf litter seemed to be their abode. For more about this frog (its status is Near Threatened):
