We’ve got so used to people napping in public that we never give it a second thought. One morning, sitting in a bus on the way to my workplace, I saw this.
Not exactly an inspiring sight on a Monday morning on the way to work, right? The question that occurred to me was, is this guy headed for his workplace? If so, what kind of enthusiasm for work does this show?
On the other hand, consider this: statistics show that most heart attacks occur on Monday mornings before 8 am, presumably when the victims were getting ready to go to work. Work-related stress is a merciless killer. In view of this, perhaps the visible absence of work-related stress in this guy is a huge plus point for him?
Or perhaps he’s not heading for his workplace but returning from it, on the way home after a grueling night shift?
Your guess is as good as mine.
